Single Point Of Supply
Coulton is recognised as a single point of supply for transmitters, control switches and primary devices for the measurement of pressure flow and temperature. This simplifies purchasing and ensures single source responsibility for calculation, sizing and calibration of complete measuring systems.

Large Stocks
Our Christchurch facility has one of the largest stocks of pressure and differential pressure transmitters in Europe. This, coupled with our assembly licence enables us to provide what without exception is probably the fastest delivery available for pressure and differential pressure transmitters in Europe. This facility is supported by our extensive stock of other instrumentation products including orifice plate assemblies, control switches, temperature controllers, process controllers, process recorders and oxygen analysers.

Manufacture
Coulton Instrumentation is a wholly owned British Company. We manufacture primary devices and assemble process transmitters and control switches in the United Kingdom. More than 70 percent of our product portfolio is manufactured within the European Union.

Calibration
The Company has an air-conditioned calibration room fully equipped for pressure, differential pressure and temperature instruments. All calibration records are kept for 10 years. Customers are welcome to visit our facility to witness calibration and final inspection.

Coulton Instrumentation is registered as Supplier Number 74190 on the United Kingdom Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) and Supplier Number 40536 on the First Point Assessment Database (FPAL) for the oil and gas industry.

Training
Customer training courses are organised in modular form and include different products according to the customers requirements. Normally two courses are held each year, one in May and another in September.

Product Support
Coulton Instrumentation is able to offer a full system design service and will provide engineers for the on-site supervision of installation and commissioning. All products manufactured or assembled by Coulton will be fully supported for a period of 10 years.

Environment
The Company has worked in accordance with a formal environmental policy since October, 1990. This policy was reviewed in June 2021 to review the requirements of ISO 14001.

Company History
Coulton Instrumentation was registered in April 1985. It takes its roots from a management buyout of the instrumentation business of PMV Field Instrumentation, a subsidiary of PMV Sweden which first began manufacturing specialist equipment in Stockholm 60 years ago.
